Leukemia drug taken off market

In a recent report at the New York Times, they report on Mylotarg, a drug recently taken off the market, which was proven unsafe in clinical trials. The drug, developed to treat acute myeloid leukemia, saw safety concerns arise after a fatal liver condition developed in patients, while showing no benefit to the patients disease.
