Yesterday,TransCelerate BioPharma announced a new collaboration with commitments from 10 of the biggest pharma companies in the world. They will come together with the goal of streamlining clinical trials in an effort that's the largest of it's kind in the world according to the New York Times.
Goals of the new collaboration include: standardizing the way clinical trials are recorded creating a universal method, create a common Internet portal that will allow investigators to communicate with drug companies, and standardize the way that trial sites and investigators are qualified.
At the Partnerships in Clinical Trials conference taking place April 21-24, 2013 in Orlando, the clinical trials community will join under one roof to discuss all the challenges facing clinical trials. To receive information on the upcoming event, sign up for updates.
